Lab Testing Progress

Just heard from Phytofarma labs in Warwick, NY (I think they are in the Cannabis Incubator in Orange County ) - I was pretty open - told them i was hoping to get some homegrow tested, but that i was also the Executive Director (yes that’s my title now) of the HCANY and was asking because we are working on the regs.

I am pretty sure they are going to get back to me and say they can’t do it without a license number, but we will see. They were certainly polite about it, and promised to follow up on my questions today. Even if they can’t test homegrow, I hope to be able to get some feedback from them. I think the lab’s sales team will see the marketing benefit of being pro-homegrow.

Will update when I know more! Edit: They got back to me already - good news: They’ll test. It’s not clear that they’ll do that as a regular service - the will test ‘personal use products’ for informational purposes/R&D. Not the same as “One of our product lines is testing homegrow” but it’s better than the firm “no” i got from Talon Analytical, and much better than the anti-homegrown vibe i got from Lexachrom.

Also, they have a Terpene Panel! Excited to try that one out to be sure. I’m headed over there next week and will be sure to let you know how it turns out.
