Introduction
hotels, many Chinese American from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South East Asia are working in the hotel in New York. They are a substantial portion of the hotel workforce. Because of language and cultural barriers many of them need support and professional development. employees to advocate for equal rights at the workplace; advance and prosper on the job; and engage in community service. We will provide mutual support and friendship and opportunities for professional development. We will work with the hotel management, hotel union and community organizations to support our members and our Program. We will unite the voices of the Chinese American Hotel employees tobuild stronger representation of our community in the mainstream society. Will Provide the Following Activities and Service members. 2)Coordinate the promote good working relationship between each worker and each hotel or union. 3)Promote Chinese culture and heritage.4)Provide culture entertainment activity. (Join Chinese New Year’s in every year in Chinatown) 5)Provide job opportunity information for each member. 6)Advocate on behalf of our members against any harm, discrimination or unfair treatment. 7)Provide information and educate members on the hotel’s and union’s regulations, and employment regulations. 8)Promote and Provide opportunities for community service.
Our association is a non-profit organization and we are (501c3) member, But we will accept every member’s personal donation. We encourage existing members to introduce new members to enroll in our association.
The Chinese workers who work for hotels in any work department or position in any area in New York (including management and non-union hotels,Motel & Inn),must follow our association's regulation,they can join us and become members.
We encourage any Chinese American that are empoyees of hotels,motls and Inns to participate in the activities and proggram of the association. We welcome donationto support the work of the association.
